Down to Earth +Authentic+Meaning Centered Psychotherapy

I work well with, independent minded critical thinkers who often don’t fit neatly into the conventional medical models or political boxes.
Respectful of holistic, integrative, and non-Western healing frameworks.

I work with adults navigating:

  • Major life transitions and shifts

  • Boundaries, self-trust, and self-worth

  • Perfectionism, overwhelm, and chronic self-abandonment

  • Repeated relational patterns

  • Values clarification and meaning-centered work

 Specialized areas of focus:

  • Grief and loss (including non-death and ambiguous loss)

  • Therapy for terminal illness and cancer

  • Chronic illness and chronic  pain

  • Supporting life with cancer for those choosing alternative or integrative  care

ABOUT

ABOUT PORCUPINE GARDEN PSYCHOTHERAPY

MY APPROACH

I believe in real therapy for real people. My style is direct, compassionate, and practical  with warmth, precision, and a sense of humor.

I create a grounded space to slow down, be with truth about what’s actually happening in your life, and begin to untangle the thoughts, patterns, and relationships that pull you away from who you know yourself to be.

In working with you I combine  a strong behavioral and attachment-based foundation with a holistic, intuitive, and relational way of working. I integrate evidence-informed and experiential methods, attachment-based approaches, and existential and meaning centered therapy

I don’t operate from a rigid agenda or a one-size-fits-all model. I respect your autonomy, your intelligence, and your lived experience. My role is not to tell you who to be or how to solve your problems.

I collaborate with you to support growth

  • Strengthen self-trust

  • Clarify what actually matters to you

  • Interrupt the patterns that keep duplicating pain

  •  build resilience from the inside out

  • Align physical, environmental, and daily habits with positive mental health goals

"It should be remembered that a successful therapy requires

harmony of the physical  and psychological functions, in order to achieve arestoration of the body in its entirety"
