Grief, Terminal Illness & Cancer Care

I am particularly interested in supporting individuals living with cancer who are pursuing integrative or alternative approaches to care, and who are focused on quality of life, meaning, autonomy, and living well regardless of prognosis.

grief and loss therapy

Serious illness or health crises often guide us towards reconnection with what truly matters. While deeply challenging, these moments can also open the door to clarity, purpose, and meaningful transformation. I work with people living with cancer or chronic illness  including those pursuing alternative or integrative approaches as well as those preparing for death or grieving loss, to support living with intention, calrity autonomy, and purpose.

Training and clinical background

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with training in Meaning Centered Psychotherapy, certification in Advanced Grief Counseling and  experience working with grief, loss, and chronic illness.
In addition to my clinical work, I am always actively pursuing specialized training, education. I participate in ongoing supervision and consultation with senior clinicians experienced in serious illness, end-of-life, and integrative approaches to care.
My clinical experience includes extensive work with chronic illness, health-related loss, anticipatory grief, and life disruption related to medical diagnoses. I have also worked with a smaller number of clients living with active or terminal cancer and continue to deepen my competence in this area.

Important note
My work is psychotherapeutic and supportive in nature. I do not provide medical advice, treatment recommendations, or guidance regarding medical decision-making. Therapy focuses on emotional, relational, and existential support alongside whatever medical path a client chooses.
